One early workout class, a quick stop by the agricultural store (no chickens today!), cleaning out + washing some of the fridge, transplanting my seedlings into bigger pots, and chopping up the last of the veggies for lunch: spring break already feels amazing!
I love seeing pregnancy progress pictures, so I thought I would share mine for fun! Here is our sweet little girl growing from weeks 4-15! 🙂 I am amazed at the work of God, how he can make a baby grow inside my womb- a little baby that never existed before! I can’t wait to hold this little one already.
Sweet little girl! 😀
We are so thankful and blessed to have another blessing coming this summer, Lord-willing!
The snow is starting to melt now, so I wanted to record these beautiful views before they are tucked away in the memory vault! It was so amazing to see a lovely white yard every time I looked out. This week was surreal. <3
We are excited to announce the coming of our 8th child in 2021!! 😀 I’m 7.5 weeks along here, and can already tell a difference in my waistline. Baby number eight doesn’t mess around. 😉 I’ve been pretty sick for the past few weeks, but not as sick as I could be. We feel so blessed by God through Jesus that we get to have another child! 😀
Our first snow day of the year was fantastic! This week’s snow storm presented an absolutely a stunning moment here in our part of the world. Four inches of snow is a rare sight to behold in Texas, and the kids enjoyed every minute of this beautiful winter wonderland. 😀
Saying goodbye is always hard. And even more so when you’re not sure when you’ll be back. Somehow friends become family quickly in a foreign place, and leaving them feels like saying farewell to your brothers and cousins. Leaving friends makes leaving a country for home much more difficult. As Shakespeare wrote: “Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.”
Goodnight, dear Islamabad, and farewell, dear friends.
Our visit to Lahore was incredible. I can’t wait to share more when the video goes up, Lord-willing! I LOVE this charming city and already can’t wait to go back.
Without a doubt, traveling abroad in 2020 brought new challenges, but these two people were pretty excited to be headed east once more:
Who would have thought the sight of an airport would be so sweet? Welcome to December 2020! 😉
Masks were mandatory in the airport and on board the aircraft, but surprisingly, they didn’t make the flight terribly uncomfortable. I buy these cotton masks from LOFT and I love them over all others for sure!
Masks or no masks, one thing is for sure: I was glad to be traveling again in 2020. 😀
For the first time in 2020:
I’m flying again! I can hardly believe it’s happening, but I’m SO glad to board a plane again!
